 My Wig Coach Return, Exchange & Refund Policy 

Should you not be happy with your item when it arrives, you may return it for an exchange or refund within three business days of receipt. Please be sure that you understand these terms and conditions before ordering either through the website, email or social media direct message.

Return to exchange option 

In order to authorize a return for exchange, please contact My Wig Coach in advance to inform us of your return to exchange. Items returned without prior authorization from My Wig Coach will not be accepted. You (the buyer) are responsible for the cost of the return postage of your item after the return for exchange has been authorized. 

Return shipping should be a trackable service, such as USPS Priority Mail, UPS or FedEx.  Insurance is highly recommended.

Condition of your return 

If your item is returned and the wig, hair piece or other item has been altered in any of the following ways, an exchange will not be able to be offered to you, and the item will be returned to you. 

  • The item must not have been cut, shampooed, blown dry or styled in any other way, including heat styled.

  • Tags must remain attached. 

  • All paper wrap and tissue paper packing material (including wig net) must be present along with any care booklets that were originally included in the box. 

  • The item must show no signs and scents of wear. 

  • The original box or wrap must not be damaged in any way. 

  • Light brushing or finger styling is ok.

Should all of the above not be adhered to then your item will be unsuitable for exchange and will be returned to you. 

Exceptions to the return to exchange policy 

If you receive your wig or topper and feel that there is a manufacturer fault with the piece, then you may be eligible for a refund. In this case please contact My Wig Coach so that a return may be authorized. 

When your item is received, it will forwarded to the distributor or manufacturer who will examine the piece carefully. 

If the distributor or manufacturer finds the item to be faulty, you will first be offered a replacement. If a replacement is not what you desire, then you will be offered an exchange for another piece. If you do not want to exchange it, then a refund will be processed for the returned faulty item at your request. 

Unauthorized return 

All returns for exchange must be authorized by My Wig Coach. Items returned without prior authorization from My Wig Coach will not be accepted. The item will be returned to you. 

Return to refund option 

Should you receive your new wig or topper and find that the style, color and/or sizing is not what you expected and you find that the item is not suitable for you, then we do offer a return to refund policy.

Restocking fees

There is a restocking fee for each wig returned (not on accessories) unless the item is exchanged for a wig of equal or greater value. The restocking fee for synthetic styles is 7% for styles $399 and under, 5% for styles over $400. For blends and human hair wigs, the restocking fee is a flat $35. If returned for exchange for a wig of equal or greater value, no restocking fee is incurred.

Backordered items 

Occasionally, the item you have ordered may not be immediately available from the distributor or manufacturer. Should this be the case with your order, you will be contacted in due course with an estimated time of arrival. It is your right as a consumer at this point to either cancel your order (in which case we will issue you with a refund), accept the estimated time of arrival date and wait for your order or to change your order to a different style or color of wig /topper of a similar price point that is currently available. 

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected the hair goods industry at all levels, including inventory, shipping and estimated time of arrival (ETA) for backordered items. Due to this, we may not be able to give you an ETA. Thank you for your understanding.

My Wig Coach reserves the right to amend or change this returns policy at any given time. If you are ever in doubt of anything, please be sure to contact us before placing an order.
